What is bloodborne winter lantern?

Bloodborne winter lanterns are enemies found in the Bloodborne video game. They are humanoid creatures with grotesque features, including a head that resembles a lantern and multiple tentacles. These creatures are encountered in the Nightmare of Mensis and the Fishing Hamlet areas of the game.
